General DisclaimerEffective Placement Incorporated (EPI) and its
employees do not bear any liability or responsibility (financial or
otherwise) for the circumstances of candidates placed through
EPI. EPI makes referrals to client companies. Candidates and
employers assume all possible risks and repercussions of an offer of
employment. Issues or problems arising from hiring or hiring process
are a matter for the employer or prospective employer and the candidate
exclusively. General AdvisoryEPI provides the most complete information it has about a client to candidates being referred for a particular position. At times client supplied information, and information supplied by the candidate may be incomplete or incorrect. Information relating to revenue, sales volume, finances, management of the company and a long term business plan for prospective employers must be evaluated by the candidate prior to accepting an offer of employment. EPI is not able to verify or validate this type of information – although we may assist by requesting data from the client company for the review of the candidate. Certain details or information may emerge during an interview process that may suggest that the candidate is not a good fit for the company or the company is not a good fit for the candidate. In this event EPI reserves the right to notify either party or both parties of the potential for the fit to be not appropriate. EPI and its employees are not responsible and bear no liability for the emergence of new and critical information. Resumes & Applications SubmissionsAll resumes and applications sent to EPI become the property of EPI. Resumes and applications submitted by candidates are done so for the express purpose of seeking employment. Once in receipt of these documents EPI is not required to act on or work on behalf of the candidate. Candidates submitting resumes are encouraged to ensure submissions are made from a private and secure setting. Candidate PrivacyAt Effective Placement Incorporated we collect personal information directly from candidates, or indirectly (with candidate permission) from candidate references, past employers, educational institutions, and results from testing and assessment processes. We are required to ask for candidate permission to submit resumes and gather the data referred to above. Once permission is received the information is kept in our database to use for current and future job openings. EPI does not sell, distribute or share any candidate supplied information with any party other than for the purpose of recruitment. Candidates may request that personal information be removed from our database. In the event that a candidate chooses to request the removal of personal information we are not able to provide further assistance in terms of referral or placement to active client searches. |
