For many women, the 1st quarter of 2020 brought about dramatic changes in their lives. Suddenly they were working from home, managing their children, being responsible for childcare along with dealing with a spouse or partner who too was working from home. Granted not everyone working was relegated to working from home. Those women working in construction, mining, industrial, and commercial manufacturing continued to go to work with modified changes to their schedules and routines.
A number of women have felt various constrictions over the past 1.5 years. At the same time there are those women who are thriving and finding themselves in new situations, making great connections, and enjoying life despite the conditions around them.
Given the variable experiences of women it is likely time to embark on a period of change and transition. As Eric Butterworth states “life is for living.” It is time for us to embark on a new journey of designing our lives to live fully whatever circumstances we find ourselves in.
